Through each term we explore the seven basic elements of art including: Line, Shape, Form, Texture, Value, Space and Colour using a wide range of different techniques, materials, and mediums. These are the building blocks of all art which are discovered through the exciting teacher led projects centered around a subject theme. Whilst the same lesson plan is delivered to the class a whole, the students are invited and encouraged to personalise their art, make creative choices, and develop a sense of creative expression. This might be as simple as colour choice, adding details or narrative features. U Create offers Art Education that embraces the following skills • Problem Solving. • Observation Skills. • Discipline. • Organisational Skills. • Self-Expression. • Self-Appreciation. • Courage. U Create Art promotes creative discovery, techniques and teaching through imagination, inspiration, and FUN. U Create Club is a term time after-school art club from 3.30pm - 5.30pm - Afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the Art Garden = 3.00pm - 3.15pm - Teaching time = 3.30pm - 5.15pm - Clear up and Collect students = 5.15pm - 5.30pm Please note - there is 1 make up session per term for sickness and holidays. These will be available from the U Create Art Studio on Tuesday / Wednesday or Thursday
