U Create Arty Parties are designed for kids to celebrate their birthday in the company of their friends while making some great and unique creative projects that they can then take home at the end as their party favours.
We have a few different options on offer to account for various age groups. Within the 2.5-hour time frame the children will make 3 different art pieces OR 1 large one. Then finish with birthday cake and party food provided by you.
We have age appropriate creative ideas for your arty party and a variety of art and craft activities, but you are welcome to make any selection.
We are also happy to work with you and accommodate a party theme such as unicorns, fairies, superhero’s, pirates, army, under the sea etc, and we will devise some fun creative activities to suite your theme or your child's hobbies.
We host the U Create parties from the U Create Art studio in The Gap
- Saturdays mornings 9.30am - 12pm
- Saturday afternoons 2.00pm - 4.00pm
We provide you with one professional artist that leads the creative projects and a support party host that helps with the art materials and logistics.

Party Cost = $30pp*
*minimum 10 children or $300 spend - PLUS GST
Final payment will be made on the day with a 'Square' card reader. You will be sent the due amount plus GST the day before once you confirm your guest numbers.
The Studio & Numbers
The U Create Studio can accommodate max of 20 children as one large studio space. Or we have a partition wall that subdivides the studio to create a smaller breakout space, perfect for the party food and cake and it has disco lights and dress-ups. The buffet tables are set up with tablecloths for you. If you have this configuration the maximum number is 16.
The Art Garden is available weather dependent and will be laid out with garden games. Children need to be supervised by parents.
Adults
Parents, Grandparents, and family members are of course welcome to stay. But we advise for the party guests a drop and go situation where possible, as there is not a lot of extra space inside the studio to accommodate waiting parents. Of course some children might need support and we understand so let’s work together on this. Parents are however welcome to wait outside in the art garden where there is seating and shade.
The Gap Village is only a few mins drive away so friends could also pop off for a coffee 😊

ART STUDIO LOCATION
1125 Waterworks Road, The Gap, 4061. Next to 7/11 Petrol Station.
PARKING
The studio car park is in front of the Church. Please park in the spaces around the perimeter marked with white bricks and do not park in the centre as this restricts access. Additional 'on street parking' is available on waterworks road or there is a free council park and ride carpark across the road on the corner or Illowara street & waterworks road by the traffic lights.
STUDIO ACCESS
To access the studio take the path to the left of the church and follow the flags down and around. Please take care when wet in case the path is slippery.
