Covid 19 hit as we all remember an unprecedented time which saw me close the doors of my studio in the 2020 lockdowns.

With some many of my students struggling with homeschooling, community reaching out for connection and support I began to 'experiment' with putting art classes online using Facebook Live.

 

Art has a great therapeutic and healing quality, a chance to exercise the right hand side of your brain, ignite your imagination and inspire positive energy.

I launched a new Facebook Page called 'U Create Art at Home' (now called @ucreateartstudio). It gave me purpose and a place to keep connecting with students. During lockdown in Australia I was delivering 3 classes daily and a weekly family sip and paint.

Novice with technology the early 'Facebook Live' sessions are entertaining in them selves. But what grew out of desperation became a strong connect global art community - I still deliver FREE sessions (not as frequent as I am back working) but you will find over 400 free classes which have been enjoyed by over 1 million viewers.
